FRIDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER 2012 – ORANGE GOBLIN TO TOUR THE WORLD IN 2013, STARTING WITH UK TOUR & SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL IN AUSTRALIA
2013 will see Orange Goblin embark on their biggest touring schedule EVER as they continue to promote the critically acclaimed A EULOGY FOR THE DAMNED album, released in February 2012 on Candlelight Records and hotly tipped to be a contender for the 'Album of the Year' polls.
The touring schedule will kick off with a 15-date UK TOUR at the end of January and start of February, dates for which are to be announced soon. We are also very happy to announce that the band will then head to AUSTRALIA for the very first time ever to join the SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL 2013 (alongside Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Blink 182, Linkin Park, Kyuss Lives!, Ghost, Stone Sour, and many, many more). The band will then spend the summer extensively touring EUROPE and appearing at as many of the summer EUROPEAN FESTIVALS as they can squeeze in before heading back to NORTH AMERICA and hopefully CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA, ASIA, JAPAN, and NEW ZEALAND.

ORANGE GOBLIN are very proud to announce their involvement in this year's FULL MOON DOG FESTIVAL, which takes place at THE COCKPIT, LEEDS, on SATURDAY 13th OCTOBER 2012.
The festival honours the late, great Jay-Jay Winter, who was vocalist and bassist for Yorkshire's finest 'strong lager and whiskey-fuelled' rockers ASOMVEL before he was involved in an unfortunate fatal accident in October 2010.
The whole day will be a tribute to Jay-Jay and as well as Orange Goblin there will be almighty sets by the likes of SOLSTICE, ASOMVEL, DARK FOREST, STUKA SQUADRON, STILETTO FARM, MERCENARY, and ELIMINATOR, and there is still more, including a headliner, to be announced. We are sorry to announce that the scheduled Orange Goblin show at Keller Platz in Prato, Italy, on FRIDAY 18th MAY has now been cancelled. The venue decided to cancel the show without giving the promoter any reason, so we do not know what has gone on.
But, the promoters have booked a different venue so on that date Orange Goblin will now be appearing at CARLITO'S WAY in RETORBIDO, PAVIA, ITALY. Support at this show will come from JEX THOTH, DOOMRAISER, and more.

In other news, we are very pleased and excited to announce that Orange Goblin will be returning to Sweden for the first time in 10 years to play at this year's Sweden Rock Festival. The event takes place in Solvesborg, Sweden, on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th June 2012. OG will be there on the Saturday. WEDNESDAY 1ST FEBRUARY 2012 – ONE SHOW CANCELLED.
It is with great sadness that we have to report that the Orange Goblin show scheduled to take place at The Old Bell in Derby on Monday 9th April as part of the A Eulogy For The Damned UK & Ireland tour has had to be cancelled.
This is due to circumstances beyond the control of Orange Goblin and the promoters (Onslaught Promotions) as the decision was made to pull the show by the venue themselves.
Those of you who have pre-ordered tickets for the show are advised to contact your point of purchase to claim a full refund.
Orange Goblin would like to apologise to all the fans that were looking forward to the show, which is a part of the UK & Ireland tour in April, and we hope that we will get to see our fans in the Midlands at the Morrowfest which takes place at Rock City, Nottingham, on Sunday 13th May.

Orange Goblin are happy to announce that they will return to Switzerland to headline the Impetus Festival Pre-Party at Le Romandie in Lausanne on Saturday 17th March 2012.
The main Impetus Festival takes place across various venues in Lausanne between April 22nd - 29th and will feature performances by the likes of Motorpsycho, Napalm Death, Godflesh, Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Michael Gira (Swans), and Stephen O'Malley (SunnO))).

A Eulogy for the Damned is the seventh Orange Goblin studio album but first for new label Candlelight Records. The album was recorded at The Animal Farm, London, by Jamie Dodd and mastered at Tube Audio by twice Grammy-nominated Pink Floyd Engineer Andy Jackson. It also features stunning artwork by artist and friend of the band Jimbob Isaac. A Eulogy for the Damned is set for release on February 13th 2012 (UK & Rest of World) and February 14th 2012 (USA).

We are delighted to announce that the brand new Orange Goblin album A EULOGY FOR THE DAMNED will be released on Candlelight Records on Monday 13th February 2012 (this is the same date that Black Sabbath released their self-titled debut in 1970!). It will be released in the USA the following day, Tuesday 14th February 2012, and will make the perfect Valentine's Day gift!!

To celebrate the release of the album, Orange Goblin will embark on a full tour of the UK and Ireland in April. The tour kicks off at the very first Desertfest in London on Saturday 7th April. TUESDAY 4TH OCTOBER 2011 – ALBUM TITLE REVEALED, HELLFEST, METAL HAMMER PARTY & CROATIA...
It's been a very busy time for Orange Goblin and after finally completing work on the new album we can reveal that the title of the new record will be A EULOGY FOR THE DAMNED. The album contains ten brand new tracks and will be released on CD and Vinyl via Candlelight Records in early 2012.
On the live front, the band are amongst the first to be confirmed for next year's HELLFEST which takes place in Clisson, France, on the 15th, 16th and 17th June. Orange Goblin are honoured to be going back to play what is now Europe's premier heavy metal festival. For more details go to www.hellfest.fr.
We are also delighted to be taking part in The Metal Hammer 25th Anniversary Party which is happening on Monday 24th October at the O2 Academy, Islington, London. Finally, we are happy to confirm that the band will be coming to play in CROATIA for the very first time! On Saturday 14th January 2012, Orange Goblin will headline at CLUB ZELJEZNICAR in ZAGREB. THURSDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2011 – OG CONFIRMED FOR BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR FESTIVAL 2012!
We are happy to say that Orange Goblin are amongst the first two bands to be announced for Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2012. Orange Goblin are honoured to headline the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday 11th August 2012. This will be OG's first appearance back at Bloodstock since playing at the very first one back in 2001. The festival takes place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire, from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August. As well as Orange Goblin, Canadian metallers ANVIL have been announced to appear on the Ronnie James Dio stage. There will be over 100 bands in total and Bloodstock has now become the UK's Number One outdoor festival for true metal. In other news, the band are still currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to what will eventually become their 7th studio album and first for Candlelight Records. The album is still as yet untitled but is being recorded and engineered in a London studio by Jamie Dodd who worked with the band on their Black Sabbath cover 'Symptom Of The Universe' last year for the Metal Hammer magazine Black Sabbath Tribute album. The album will feature 10 new songs and we can reveal the titles are as follows: Red Tide Rising; Acid Trial; The Fog; Stand For Something; The Filthy & The Few; Return To Mars; Save Me From Myself; The Bishops Wolf; Death Of Aquarius; A Eulogy For The Damned. Artwork is being done by friend of the band James'Jimbob' Isaac, and the album will be released worldwide in March 2012.

We are proud to announce that the festive chaos that is the annual Orange Goblin Christmas Show will be taking place on Saturday 17th December at The Underworld, Camden, London. This year we have given great thought to which bands should join us to provide the fans with the ultimate Christmas party and we are happy to announce that main support will come from the UK's finest retro-rockers GENTLEMENS PISTOLS, promoting their latest album 'At Her Majesty's Pleasure'. Kick-starting the party will be Welsh behemoths and ex-Acrimony heroes SIGIRIYA who will be serving up treats from their debut 'Return To Earth' to be released soon. In other news, the band will enter the recording studio in London on Friday 12th August to start work on the follow up to 2007's 'Healing Through Fire'. This will be the band’s seventh studio album but their first for new label Candlelight Records. The album is as yet untitled but some confirmed song titles include 'Red Tide Rising', 'The Fog', 'Death of Aquarius', 'The Filthy & The Few', and 'Acid Trial'.
The album will be released worldwide in March 2012.
WEDNESDAY 11TH MAY 2011 – DAY TICKET BALLOT SCHEME REVEALED FOR SONISPHERE UK
SONISPHERE FESTIVAL organisers have issued the following statement regarding day tickets for the 2011 event:
In response to an overwhelming number of requests, we have been able to secure permission to put a strictly limited number of day tickets on sale via THE POWER BALLOT scheme. Due to the huge demand for day tickets anticipated, and the limited number that can be made available, we have decided to use a ballot system as we believe it is the fairest way to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to obtain tickets.
Fans should sign up here before 23rd May, when the ballot closes. Successful applicants will be informed which day they can purchase tickets for via email on May 25th. Each customer may purchase up to four tickets for their allocated day. Tickets will be £80/day plus booking fee.
The day splits are listed below, broken down by stage, from the APOLLO and SATURN ARENA stages - timed to ensure no clashes so people can watch every main stage performance - to the BOHEMIA, JAGERMEISTER and RED BULL BEDROOM JAM stages, considerately timed to avoid any painful choices over the course of the weekend.

We are happy to announce that Orange Goblin have been confirmed to appear at the UK Sonisphere Festival 2011 which takes place at Knebworth on the weekend of 8th, 9th and 10th July. The band will be playing the Jagermeister Stage on Sunday 10th July.
