TUESDAY 14th NOVEMBER - NEWS UPDATE
Orange Goblin's Ben Ward will go into the studio this week to record a vocal track for the new MIDDIAN album, which is due out in April 2007. Middian is the new project of Mike from YOB and is one of the most hotly anticipated metal releases of next year. Ben will appear on the track 'Sink To The Centre'.
Writing for the new Orange Goblin album, scheduled for release in May 2007 is well underway with 4 tracks finished and lots of ideas coming together. The band say that the next record will definately be a progression from 'Thieving...' and are using their local history as a theme. Ben Ward said "It's not a concept album at all but we are using the theme of the Great Plague of London and the Great Fire that followed for a lot of lyrical and musical influence. It's definately the strongest material we have written." A few people will have heard a couple of new songs that have been played in the recent live set and the band are currently drawing up a short list of potential producers and studios. A full UK tour with VERY special guests is being planned for May to co-incide with the release of the album.

WEDNESDAY 31st MAY - BACK FROM THE US OF A!!!!
What a great two weeks folks! Sorry the Tour Diary never happened but as expected, the hangovers and dodgy memories got in the way, and anytime we did find a computer we just thought '...Bollocks, I can't be bothered!'
Firstly, let's get the thank-you's out the way. What an honour it was to share the stage with Scissorfight every night and those guys are brothers of ours forever! As are a few of the other bands we had the honour of playing with,
Dixie Witch, Graves At Sea, Throttlerod, Beaten Back To Pure, Motherboar, Bible Of The Devil and everyone else...Cheers! Also huge raised jugs of ale to the Kings of New Jersey, Solace and the mighty Alabama Thunderpussy! Again, you guys are the coolest! It was good hanging out and partying
with all of you guys!
We would also like to thank all the kind people that put us up/ put up with us, brought us drinks and brought us other goodies (you know who you are!) Hopefully, we will get to do it all again soon! The shows were amazing and it was mainly down to all the Goblin and Scissorfight fans that came out and
showed their support for which we are eternally grateful! Personal highlights for me were New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Emissions (again!) but that's not to say that we didn't enjoy the other shows. We are only sorry that the tour wasn't longer and we didn't get across to the West Coast!
We are also kinda grateful in a funny sort of way to Arby's, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Waffle House and Cracker Barrel for keeping us going (just!)
Very special thanks also to Craig Riggs, Kevin Straub, Lamont and our Boston family for the great times, the great recordings and the awesome hospitality! See you in Europe! I think Dave Unger said it best
when he said '...I may be high.....but I'd love to watch an elephant fuck a kangaroo's pouch!'
CHRIS AND ANNELIE ADD TO THE GOBLIN FAMILY
Congratulations to Chris and his wife Annelie, who gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday 28th May in Gothenberg, Sweden. Chris has flown straight out to Sweden to see little Elmo Arne Bonham Turner. Raise your glasses everyone!

TUESDAY 9th MAY - NEWS UPDATE

willing to buy the band a drink is more than welcome! There will also be limited edition US merch available at the shows, which we hope will raise enough funds to help us buy a packet of cigarettes to share!
We will try to do a kind of Tour Diary on here to keep you up to date of the goings on in America, but there is a danger of hangovers and blurred memories causing problems with this, but we'll try!!
In other news, we have decided that we'll be recording a cover of 'New Rose' by The Damned for the upcoming 'Sucking The 70's II Compilation'. As well as this, we'll be recording our first new material since 'Theiving
From The House Of God' in 2004. We are looking forward to doing 2 new songs with Craig Riggs (Scissorfight, Antler, Roadsaw, Five Horse Johnson and more) at Mad Oak Studios in Boston, MA. The working titles for the songs so far are
'They Come Back (Harvest Of Skulls)' and 'The Ballad Of Solomon Eagle'.

December 2005 would have heard one new track 'They Come Back'. We hope to record

moment, we are debating what song to do but the favourite right now is a version
of The Damned's 'Neat Neat Neat' or 'New Rose'. Let us know what you think we
should cover in the Forum section!
BEN WARD HORROR MOVIE INTERVIEW

ON A SAD NOTE
It is with deep sadness that we have to report that three Orange Goblin fans
were tragically killed in a car accident as they returned home after our 10 year
anniversary show in London on December 16th 2005. Gavin Easthope, 30, Karen
Easthope, 25 and Phillip Alexander, 30, were killed when a truck collided with
their stationary car. Also in the vehicle was Vicky Newns, 25, who was seriously
injured.
Orange Goblin and everybody associated with the band would like to let the
families and friends know that we are thinking of them at this sad time, and
will do everything we can to help them.
