It is with great sadness that we have to report that the Orange Goblin show scheduled to take place at The Old Bell in Derby on Monday 9th April as part of the A Eulogy For The Damned UK & Ireland tour has had to be cancelled.
This is due to circumstances beyond the control of Orange Goblin and the promoters (Onslaught Promotions) as the decision was made to pull the show by the venue themselves.
Those of you who have pre-ordered tickets for the show are advised to contact your point of purchase to claim a full refund.
Orange Goblin would like to apologise to all the fans that were looking forward to the show, which is a part of the UK & Ireland tour in April, and we hope that we will get to see our fans in the Midlands at the Morrowfest which takes place at Rock City, Nottingham, on Sunday 13th May.

A Eulogy for the Damned is the seventh Orange Goblin studio album but first for new label Candlelight Records. The album was recorded at The Animal Farm, London, by Jamie Dodd and mastered at Tube Audio by twice Grammy-nominated Pink Floyd Engineer Andy Jackson. It also features stunning artwork by artist and friend of the band Jimbob Isaac. A Eulogy for the Damned is set for release on February 13th 2012 (UK & Rest of World) and February 14th 2012 (USA).

TUESDAY 4TH OCTOBER 2011 – ALBUM TITLE REVEALED, HELLFEST, METAL HAMMER PARTY & CROATIA...
It's been a very busy time for Orange Goblin and after finally completing work on the new album we can reveal that the title of the new record will be A EULOGY FOR THE DAMNED. The album contains ten brand new tracks and will be released on CD and Vinyl via Candlelight Records in early 2012.
On the live front, the band are amongst the first to be confirmed for next year's HELLFEST which takes place in Clisson, France, on the 15th, 16th and 17th June. Orange Goblin are honoured to be going back to play what is now Europe's premier heavy metal festival. For more details go to www.hellfest.fr.
We are also delighted to be taking part in The Metal Hammer 25th Anniversary Party which is happening on Monday 24th October at the O2 Academy, Islington, London. THURSDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2011 – OG CONFIRMED FOR BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR FESTIVAL 2012!
We are happy to say that Orange Goblin are amongst the first two bands to be announced for Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2012. Orange Goblin are honoured to headline the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday 11th August 2012. This will be OG's first appearance back at Bloodstock since playing at the very first one back in 2001. The festival takes place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire, from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August. As well as Orange Goblin, Canadian metallers ANVIL have been announced to appear on the Ronnie James Dio stage. There will be over 100 bands in total and Bloodstock has now become the UK's Number One outdoor festival for true metal. In other news, the band are still currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to what will eventually become their 7th studio album and first for Candlelight Records. The album is still as yet untitled but is being recorded and engineered in a London studio by Jamie Dodd who worked with the band on their Black Sabbath cover 'Symptom Of The Universe' last year for the Metal Hammer magazine Black Sabbath Tribute album. The album will feature 10 new songs and we can reveal the titles are as follows: Red Tide Rising; Acid Trial; The Fog; Stand For Something; The Filthy & The Few; Return To Mars; Save Me From Myself; The Bishops Wolf; Death Of Aquarius; A Eulogy For The Damned. We are proud to announce that the festive chaos that is the annual Orange Goblin Christmas Show will be taking place on Saturday 17th December at The Underworld, Camden, London. This year we have given great thought to which bands should join us to provide the fans with the ultimate Christmas party and we are happy to announce that main support will come from the UK's finest retro-rockers GENTLEMENS PISTOLS, promoting their latest album 'At Her Majesty's Pleasure'. Kick-starting the party will be Welsh behemoths and ex-Acrimony heroes SIGIRIYA who will be serving up treats from their debut 'Return To Earth' to be released soon. In other news, the band will enter the recording studio in London on Friday 12th August to start work on the follow up to 2007's 'Healing Through Fire'. This will be the band’s seventh studio album but their first for new label Candlelight Records. The album is as yet untitled but some confirmed song titles include 'Red Tide Rising', 'The Fog', 'Death of Aquarius', 'The Filthy & The Few', and 'Acid Trial'.
The album will be released worldwide in March 2012.

SONISPHERE FESTIVAL organisers have issued the following statement regarding day tickets for the 2011 event:
In response to an overwhelming number of requests, we have been able to secure permission to put a strictly limited number of day tickets on sale via THE POWER BALLOT scheme. Due to the huge demand for day tickets anticipated, and the limited number that can be made available, we have decided to use a ballot system as we believe it is the fairest way to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to obtain tickets.
Fans should sign up here before 23rd May, when the ballot closes. Successful applicants will be informed which day they can purchase tickets for via email on May 25th. Each customer may purchase up to four tickets for their allocated day. Tickets will be £80/day plus booking fee.
The day splits are listed below, broken down by stage, from the APOLLO and SATURN ARENA stages - timed to ensure no clashes so people can watch every main stage performance - to the BOHEMIA, JAGERMEISTER and RED BULL BEDROOM JAM stages, considerately timed to avoid any painful choices over the course of the weekend.
